RD Reynolds , auctioning off the biggest piece ofwrestling merchandise I own, both figuratively and literally - a full-size, coin-operated WWF Royal Rumble Pinball Machine, starring all the greatest stars of the WWF! This thing is a monster, an actual honest-to-God pinball machine that you could put in the arcade of your local bowling alley or bar. I've switched it over to free play, but if you want to charge your friends 50 cents a game to play, have at it!And why wouldn't they want to play this game? After all, it's a freakin' WWF PINBALL MACHINE! A WWF pinball machine that came out in 1994, mind you, so what an array of superstars are featured! You've got Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Bret Hart, and countless more, with various quotes and their actual theme music! The game is fantastic. Depending on what you can do, you can be searching for Doink (!!), Raising the Undertaker, experiencing Macho Madness, doing Banzai drops with Yokozuna, and all kinds of other crap. T are at least 9 different unique modes in the game, so it's not like you're just flipping randomly and hoping to hit some bumpers.T are also different multiball modes in the game, from a standard 3-ball jobby to a completely insane 6-ball Royal Rumble multiball. It gets quite intense, and with the music blaring and the animations going, it's an absolute riot.Sounds unspeakably cool, right? Well, just to give it that special WrestleCrap touch, and in we made our own custom backglass that transforms the machine into...The WrestleCrap Rumble Pinball Machine!Now granted, it doesn't change the play of the game...but it looks incredibly cool, and makes this truly a one of a kind. After all, why else would a pinball machine have the Shockmaster, the Gobbeldy Gooker, Outback Jack, Giant Gonzalez, Doink and Dink, and Katie Vick (not to mention the Hobo and myself) on it? Of course, you get both backglasses, so if you want the original version with Hogan, Savage, Luger and the gang, it's yours to swap out as you see fit.Let's talk a bit about the machine itself, which is in really nice shape - the cabinet has a couple of minor nicks and scratches, but otherwise looks great. The playfield is excellent - incredibly clean. Could use some new rubbers (which are easy to get, I've just had no time to replace them), but other than that, everything shines and looks fantastic. Hard to believe that this thing is 14 years old.Best of all, it works PERFECTLY. I just replaced one of the circuit boards in the machine with a new one to ensure that whoever gets it is going to have zero problems with it.In short, this is easily the coolest, largest, and most valuable piece of wrestling merchandise I've ever owned, and it's yours if you want to drop some coin.All that said, let's get some pesky details out of the way. Due to the size of the machine, I REALLY don't want to ship it. The issue with shipping one of these things is that unless they are handled with kids' gloves, they could be damaged and that would suck. Plus shipping would cost a small fortune, like $400 or so. I suppose if someone wanted to pay that much and was willing to take the risk, I'd do it, but I'd prefer not to. Tell you what, you come pick it up and I'll take you out to lunch.Also...unlike the other items we've had in this garage sale, because of the value of the machine, I had to put a reserve on it. I paid a fair amount for it, so I can't really afford to have it go bye bye for $27 or something.Also, this is a CASH ONLY auction - you pick it up, you pay in greenbacks, baby!I think that's it! I love the machine, it's a lot of fun to play, and I hate to lose it. Sadly, though, I just don't have room for it any more, and I figured offering it up to my fellow Crappers, it would find a good home.
