Nice ID'd group to Charles Oxenford, #123668, Co. G, 109th Infantry (28th Division). This info is on his gas mask bag (along with a painted keystone divisional emblem). Group includes: His gas mask and carrier (mask dry), tunic (very good condition, with 28th Div patch, G Company Infantry and US collar discs, nice dated label, overseas chevrons, Oxenford's initials etc). Tunic has a couple tiny moth nips but overall very good. Trousers also have some moth nips but overall good. There are some tears to the inside of the pockets but this doesn;t show outside and has 1917 dated label). Also includes: nice camo painted helmet (shell only), a wool jerkin (made from a issue blanket, I think), gas mask and carrier and a boot brush.
