Nice original pair of World War I Canadian medals numbered and named on rims to "1000407 PTE. W. FRANCIS. 43rd CAN. INF." One medal is silver with King of England on front, mounted figure on back. Second medal is gilt with a winged victory figure on the front and "The Great War for Civilisation 1914-1919" on back. Please enlarge auction photos for best review of these beautiful medals. Both medals and ribbons are in nice solid condition showing very little wear for age. Please see auction photos. These medals have not been researched. Nice addition to any U.S. WWI display!
