For your consideration is this Circa early 1900s Graphotype Model G2 machine made by the Addressograph Co....Chicago, Illinois. Great heavy machine that weighs approximately 110lbs!!! The machine is an early manual type with the original operating manual...It moves rather freely...and I didn't oil or clean it. I've tested it and it works...Great little money making machine. Greater print shop museum quality piece! Operating instructions, illustrated parts list, and specimen type styles for the 44 character and the 56 or 80 character Model G1 Graphotype machines. The Graphotype was a machine for embossing the address printing plates used in the Addressograph system of address and mailing list management. The Model G1 was a manually operated keyboardless machine. This book also includes an advertisement for the Model G2 electrically operated keyboardless machine.
