Wonderful French Dragoon enlisted man's helmet from period of 1874-1916. A real beauty for display. Brass and steel construction body. Right side has small linear dent but not detractive. Leather chin strap is supple as is complete liner. No markings visible on interior lining. Rear of helmet stamped "7.C, 101.74" with another faint stamp underneath. Horsetail is full and features a braided portion on top as most specimens I've seen do. White feather plume is probably a replacement. Please see my other WWI French cavalry listings.
