This auction listing is for a scarce original set of WWI French model 1916 field shoes. This great set of hobnail boots is very similar in construction to their later US counterparts. They differ in construction because t is no seam on the reverse and the tongue and side gussets are manufactured in 3 sections. The original leather shoe laces are also included in the sale. I would guess they are a about a US size 10. They measure 11 inches from toe to heel. Overall just a great set of very scarce footwear. No reserve!!
