Blade is marked "SIMON & CO' over " SUHL". The bayonet and scabbard are both numbered 13228.The blade looks very nice. The iron on the handle, crosspiece and scabbard all have a patina of light surface rust. The leather scabbard has some scratches and bumps, but the leather is in great overall condition. Sorry my camera is no good for close ups.I don't find any unit markings. There is something stamped on the spine, but I can't make anything out. I was looking over this bayonet getting it ready to ship and found another marking on the very back of pommel. From looking online it is apparently the Peruvian crest, meaning this blade was for the export market. I don't want to misrepresent anything, so hopefully this fills out the picture for this unit. Sorry for any inconvenience.
