Very good condition and guaranteed 100% original and untouched WWI German Model 1916 helmet. Shell has a guaranteed original WWI period done classic “tortoise shell” camouflage paint scheme with autumn colors of green, brown, and ochre. Paint shows a lot of wear from actual use but is still largely visible around the sides and front with most of the wear being to the crown. Shell is free of dents. Complete with all three original leather liner tongues that are somewhat dry and show wear and a few tears. One of three pads is present. One liner band lug is absent as is the chinstrap. Correct original M.91 chinstrap posts are intact. A very rare and completely honest WWI German camo helmet that will make a super addition to your collection and an excellent display.
