It is broad arrow marked, dated 1917 and includes remnants of the original leather strap. I contemplated removing the leather strap as it is pretty worn out from field use but it's part of the original piece so I left it in. The kit is discolored from age and use as well as scratched and showing small signs of rust however, t are no holes, dents or major damage. We have listed this item with the best possible detail including plenty of photos to give you an accurate idea of the items quality and condition. Terms of Payment and Details Regarding Seller has been, and still is, a local CT business with almost twenty years experience specializing in militaria collectibles, military gear, antiques, etc. All of our items are guaranteed authentic to the time period specified or your money back (see returns) as condition is nothing short of excellent. PayPall, cashiers check, money order, and personal checks are accepted for all U.S. sales; PayPal is required for all international sales (please, do not mail cash) . Regardless of type, payment must be made within seven days of close of auction or the item will be re-listed and negative feedback will be posted. Please allow up to a five day hold for items purchased with a personal check as they must clear the bank prior to release for shipping. Shipping Instructions and Details PayPal, cashiers check and money order payments will be shipped within three days of receipt of payment based on our regular shipping schedule Tuesday through Friday (no shipping Saturday-Monday). Item shipping cost does not include insurance, however, we encourage you to insure so your item arrives in the proper condition or your money can be refunded by the post office. USPS Priority International (Recommended) - tracking to major destinations and limited indemnity coverage with insurance available for a fee deliverable in 6-10 business days. 1.
