WWI Imperial Crown German Belt Buckle WW1 History This is a consignment auction for a doctor client who purchased all of his military collectibles in the late 1980s. We are helping him liquidate his entire collection. Many of these were WWI and WWII and these items are used and bear signs of wear and possible blood stains. We are not experts and welcome any comments to correctly identify these items if we have something not identified perfectly. Auction Inventory and Specifications WWI Imperial Crown German Belt Buckle - This is in excellent condition considering its age. T is a little wear, mostly tarnishing. If desired it could probably be polished and made to look a little nicer, but this is an authentic WWI German Belt Buckle worn by enlisted men. The buckle measures 2 1/2" long and approx 2" tall. The buckle is brass and the center roundel with the crown looks like it is silver plated or nickel. The center piece reads Gott Mitt Uns translating to God with us. This is great piece of German history and a great addition to your Military Collection. Auction Specifics This auction features a low starting bid and no reserve. We are not sure of the value so we will allow this item to earn its release from our client. We have these items in our possession and will be ready to ship them immediately to the winning bidder.
