Up for this auction is an Original WW I ITALIAN VETTERLI VITALI 1871 BAYONET - LONG SPRING in good condition. The length of the blade is approx 20 7/16" long. Over all length is 25 ½" long. The blade has overall staining and some pitting near the back strap(see pictures for condition), pommel and cross guard is marked with ordinance acceptance marks. Button & spring works fine. On the spring side of the ricasso is Terni in an oval. The cross guard is marked KV 1362 on the spring side. This original model has composition grips in a dark brown color, and is in great shape. All parts are tight. Bid with confidence to add this bayonet to your collection.
