Hello and thanks for visiting our auctions! We sell antiques, collectibles, gotta-have-its and much more on a regular basis so please visit frequently!! You never know what we'll have! ____________________________________ For sale in this auction is a WWI pilot's flight helmet and goggles. The helmet is made from soft unlined leather. The leather of the helmet has some places w the surface has been rubbed or torn. Overall the helmet is in good condition for its age. The buckles and snaps are in great working condition. T is some fraying of the leather around the edges. The tag inside the helmet is marked 7 1/2. The goggles are aluminum framed with clear glass lenses. The lenses are not scratched however t is some discoloration on the aluminum around them. The padding on the inside of the goggles is worn and the head strap is still in tact in good condition with some discoloration. These items would make great display pieces!!
