WWI MKII RIFLE GRENADE/BOMB CUP DISCHARGER (RFI&S&B) ?? BOUGHT THIS FROM AN ESTATE AUCTION...and didn't know what it was until a helpful ebayer -CHRIS- passed on his expertise...(we thought it was perhaps a steam whistle). He described it as a: WWI VINTAGE GRENADE/MILLS BOMB CUP DISCHARGER THAT FITS ON A LEE ENFIELD NO# 1 MKII RIFLE (BRITISH ISSUE). We definitely do not know anything about WWI militaria or ordinants. Please use your judgment/expertise to decide for sure. This piece is marked both RFI and S&B. Stands about 6 1/2 inches tall and is about 3 inches in diameter. Heavy iron - painted black.
