It is sold for purposes of collection only and is restricted to sales within the continental United States. ABSOLUTELY NO SALES TO COUNTRIES OUTSIDE OF THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES AND IN PARTICULAR THOSE COUNTRIES TO WHICH EBAY PROHIBITS SALES. Do not bid or even ask if you are not a resident of the United States. This is an authentic and much sought WWI M-1916 GERMAN CAMO STAHLHELM. Exterior colors are brown, green mustard and patina. The interior is the original feldgrau with patina. The helmet is of very solid manufacture with no dents, cracks or other structural damage. It is lightly stamped TJ 66 or 68 on the interior left side indicating it was manufactured by C. Theil & Sohn, Lubeck. The dome stamp is partially imprinted and reads P 1 0 6 8. The imprints are somewhat readable but were not sharply stamped during manufacture. They are not obscured by paint or foeign matter of any kind. This halmet is a very attractive helmet. It is all original and has aged like a fine wine. It would make an outstanding display in any military collection. This and other items being offered were purchased from a very well maintained collection of militaria.
