WWI U.S painted brody helmet. The side has the 35th division insignia painted by the soldier many years ago. The liner is mostly there. Minus a bit of loss of some interior felt that the pictures show. The chinstrap is complete but, showing its age. This helmet might have been struck on the side by a bullet just glancing off the side as picture #7 shows. One can not tell for sure though.
