I found this helmet in my sister's attic when she bought her house a few years ago. T was paperwork along with it including an honerable discharge and a couple awards for the fellow that served in WWI. The family that sold her the house wanted the paperwork back, but not the helmet, or gas mask, so I hung on to them. Well, I'm trying to clean house a bit, and pay for a few purchases, so its up on the block. The liner/suspension is pretty dry. It is also loose in the helmet. You can clearly make out the lightning bolt, and vaguely see the red half circle around it that denotes the 78th division. That was a NY/NJ area division at time, and is still headquartered in Edison, NJ. During WWI the 78th was engaged at St. Mihiel, and Argonne from what I found. I'm happy to combine shipping on multiple items. I will package this as carefully as I can due to the age and condition of the liner. PayPal only folks. Thanks for looking.
