See the scans. This is a nice, original example of the WWI Victory Medal in miniature with the scarce U.S. Navy clasp SALVAGE. The medal is about 2 1/2" top to bottom and the planchet is the usual 11/16" (18 mm) diameter. Fewer than 1,000 of the full size SALVAGE bars were awarded and the miniature is scarcer than that. Only the second I have had in 35 years. Comes with a miniature ribbon bar and a bronze WWI Victory lapel pin. NO RESERVE !!! Generally XF condition, except that the ribbon is quite worn at the bottom w it fits through the ring. This is a MINIATURE medal. TERMS: PAY PAL, check or money order, please.
