This Box is in great shape, All paint/ink is still in great shape no fading. Latch works, rope on the handle is in great shape. This ammo box is to die for!!!! Have had estimate for a value over $440 in this condition! Extremely rare M18 57mm Recoilless Rifle wood ammo box . This is a great find for any collector of the 57 MM Recoilless Rifle or wartime ammo boxes. Ammunition box is in solid condition with usual action and age wear. Both hinges work great along with the one turn locks. Measurements: 22" long x 8" high x 8" deep. Writing on the box includes : Front: "RIJSA 4 cartridges TP M306AI W/Fuse PD 503AI 57 MM Rifle LOT MA0-7-54" See pictures for additional details.
