WWI, WWII lot. This grouping all comes from one family and is accompanied by old family photos and assorted papers. The items all came from the Estate sale of Richard M. “Dick” Bond. Dick Bond went on in life to become a member of the-- State of Washington House of Representatives (sixth district). His Estate went up for sale last summer in Spokane WA. All the items in this listing came from that sale. Included in the lot are several WWII items that were Dick Bonds. 1: Dress (Marine) hat with pin on front, sized 7 1/8. Stamped B Pasquale Co of San Francisco CA. Bonds name is stamped with ink on the inside band and his initials are pressed into the inner band too. Overall the hat is in good condition but there is some staining and spotting from use and age. 2: Leather military boots. I think these may be what you call rough out boots but I am not familiar with old military items so I could be wrong about the term. The boots appear to have never been worn. They are sized 11A. Made by the General Shoe Corporation. There is other print inside the boot that is hard to read but they are also stamped Boston Depot. Shoes are in fantastic brand new condition. 3: Tan Khaki colored duffel bag. Bond wrote his name on the bag and there is also address and phone numbers written on it. The bag has a few small pin holes some rust stains a largish stain that looks like a grease or oil type stain and is a bit dirty overall. But no major flaws or tears. I left the padlock and key hanging on it as I found it. 4: Army Air Forces Aviator Sunglasses. Glasses are in original case stamped Army Air Forces in gold above the snap closure along with a faded (partially rubbed out) gold Eagle. Case has creasing and a little tearing to it from age and use. I believe the glasses are made by ray ban (not sure though) but they are not marked. They have a silver metal frame. The nose rest and a plastic band across the forehead now have an odd yellowish pink hue to them, I do not know if they originally looked that way or if that is how the plastic discolored over the years from use and age. Overall they are in very good condition no blemishes to the lens, nice tight frames. There is a little discoloration on the arm from where they would of rested on the ears, but they are really in nice shape. They measure aprox 5 ¾ wide, 2 inches tall and the arms are 6 5/8 inches end to end. The lens on the glasses is a brown tone. 5: Three heavy canvas web belts. One of them was stamped R M Bond on the back side in ink it is the greenish colored belt. I assume all were Dick Bonds, but again I am not familiar with the old military issue items so I may be wrong and possible the two khaki colored ones go with the WWI items that were Dick’s dads stuff. The greenish colored belt is about 35 inches and has a 2 ½ inch buckle. The other two are 35 ½ and 34 inches long, both have a toothed buckle that measures 1 7/8 inches. All are in very good condition. 6: Photos, I have quite a few photos from WWII. Two pictures show Dick Bond in his dress Marines uniform. On the back of one is written “our Marine son – Dick Bond & his adoring Pappy Joe Bond 1943-44”. There is another one of Dick and I believe his wife from the same time frame. I also include in this group a photo of Dick when he is a young boy, the back of that photo is marked “Dick’s first knickers he’s so proud of them, October 1930, 6 ½ years. Also I am adding a business card from his Estate from his time with the House of Reps. I have another 10 WWII era photos of people in uniforms, all I believe to be associated to Dick Bond either friends or family. 7: Dummy/practice bomb, I believe this is from WWII but could be older. This is a heavy metal practice bomb and is in no way live ordnance and cannot be used as one in any way. It measures 8 ¼ inches long. It is marked as follows (170133 B 1) 8: 1 ½ ounce can of shoe dubbing. The next grouping of items I am listing is WWI items that were Dick Bonds fathers (Joe)...
