This is a real veterans coat and it came from a museum display along with the helmet liner that I have on another auction It is a very early 1943 jacket and has the cheese cloth type tag in the pocket and not the later style that was printed on the inside of the pocket. This coat saw heavy use and is well soiled and stained . The pockets had alot of debris in them which we saved for histories sake. T is some loose tobacco and string like the kind carried in demo kits for binding explosives together. T is a ration sugar packet and a soiled tissue of some sort. This coat is dripping with history. The collar is worn as well as the cuffs and inner draw string . This trooper lived in this coat as you can well see. . This is on seasoned war vet and every bit as rare as the 1942 jump jackets most of which were'nt in combat. NOTE I am selling the jump wings on a different auction. They are shown in the photo of the patch.
