this is a USGI M2 tripod for the 1919A4 browning mg 30cal dated 1943 LAMSONAS WITH MOST TRIPODS THAT WE OFFER I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT THIS TRIPOD IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION,this is the real deal made in 1943 how more airborne can you find..? and remember, these are "drying out" ,.............. bigger USA compagnies dont even offer these anymore, they constantly are looking to buy them..................this one is complete with the traverse and elevation system, and also a period 30 CAL pintle complete with correct boltboth T&E and also the pintle are original period items, not surpluss, it opens and closes ok, pintle lock complete and working made by LAMSONvarious marlings/ numbers on small parts, see pictures No 179548 F J A MOUNT TRIPOD Cal 30 M2LAMSON 1943ALL ORIGINAL WW 2 PRODUCTION,!!!!! no reproduction.
