welcome to ezcapstores WWII 1945 IWO JIMA Japanese ARISAKA BAYONET w/Frog RARE - NR! Up for this auction really amazing and RARE item, especially for collector's of old miliary items. Featured is Japanese Bayonet, Arisaka type. This bayonet is marked with manufacturer mark which will help you to state more exact date of production and also Arsenal which it came from. It is WWII bayonet and comes in really great condition considering it's age. The holder show also painted in yellow sign which reads following: "IWO JIMA Feb. 19. 1945" and this may be as interested as the bayonet itself. The bayonet comes with holder, and leather frog. The manufacturer mark is visible very well, and also t is number on the end of the handle: "163611". Condition: The metal holder show some wear, paint is getting off in several places but even with this holder is still in great condition with no major defects, straight, no cracks and the blade goes in and out smoothly. The leather frog show most wear but still is solid and holds well - as pictured. The bayonet is in really great condition, the blade has very minor chip on sharp side and this is the only visible issue. The release button works smooth and the bayonet is completely tight - overall condition is very good or even close to near excellent considering age of this beautiful piece!
