This is a vintage original and rare end of WWII Occupation of Japan grouping for an Army Airborne Paratrooper from Chicago Illinois.As shown as found as is, there is a Japanese National Flag marked In Memory of Occupation. Flag appears to be silk and measures approx. 28 1/4" inches x 36" inches.There is also two painted to cloth & vinyl? - appears to be cut out from old jump bag - two hand painted images: US Paratroops 1946 - 1947 - shows Airborne Paratroopers being dropped over Mount Fuji from an aircraft. Painted Sapporo Japan as shown. Measures approx. 14 1/2" inches x 19 3/8" inches. Paratroopers Name - Joseph J. Kecseg - Chicago Illinois. Painted on this is an image of an Airborne patch, an Airborne Glider patch, and the cities Sendai, Tokyo, Yokohama and Sapporo. Measures approx. 14 1/2" inches x 19 1/4" inches Found at a Chicago Illinois estate. Condition - Please see Condition Description noted above.
