Original, good condition. Grouping contains items from Platoon Sgt. John Hruska, a Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal, Tarawa Infantry veteran. He served from 1939 to end of occupation of Japan in 1945. He is listed in 2005 USMC Membership Directory, his bio from the book is listed in the second picture. Includes named medal, photo of Marines with caption on back says Jap skulls. Also picture of Japanese prisoners behind barbed wire, and personal photo. Also his KaBar, which is USMC marked and on scabbard dated 43 Boytt. Knife and scabbard in used condition. Captured Japanese flag with commemorative date of December 7 1945 marked. Pearl Harbor comm. medal and 2nd Mar. Division Association pins with assorted other pins and tie clips. Also included is his 2nd Marine Unit History printed in 1948. Also service plaque comm. Hruska family children who served in WWII. 2nd Marine Division Felt patch.
