For consideration is a nice wwii american helmet that I picked up at an auction. I have never had a helmet of this style before and I don't know much about them. I'll do my best to describe the helmet! The helmet has the 3rd division logo on both sides with liner and chinstrap's present. Helmet is the fixed bale style and the liner has the soldiers name in it along with numbers. The paint is scratched throughout and looks to have two differ colors of green mixed on it with a rough texture. The rough texture is worn in areas as is the paint. Their is a tiny dent that I can feel on top of the helmet but is hard to see by the naked eye. The liner looks to be in good shape along with the chinstrap, but does show some wear and staining. Their is an insignia on both sides of the liner, but I don't know what it stands for. I have a low opening bid so be sure to email with questions since item is sold as is. I'll be listing another American helmet with insignia's after I sell this one, but it's from ww1. Buyer is responsible for insurance since I can't responsible for damaged items!! Will Ship Internationally But I will need to check your location with post office for price!
