This auction is for a 48 Star ARMBAND , I do not know if this if WWII or later??? I was purchased in Middle Tennessee at an estate auction. The material is a cotton fabric with the 48 star flag sew on to the material. It does appear to be a commercially made piece not something that was put together. The white material does show discoloration from aging and what looks like water stains but they do not detract from the overall appearance of the Brassard very much. The flag part also has minor discoloration and a very tiny dark spot that I hope you can see in the photographs. It has never been sewn together. It is about 16" long and about 3 ¼" wide. As I stated earlier I do not know if this is a WWII vintage or Korean War era armband. If you have any questions please email and I will gladly respond.
