I think these are Chinese dating from WWII, but they could be earlier, later or from a different country. Serial #594. A Chinese fellow said the kinji characters roughly translate to "Rangers of the Sea." I guess that could be marines or naval infantry. They are almost exactly like the standard WWII British No.2 MKII. They have been polished and would look wonderful on a book case or shelf. The leather covering is perfect. Optically, they are clear and alligned with no interior scratches. They could use a light clean as t is a bit of interior debris (that doesn't affect the viewing). I'd rate the optics good. No rangefinders. They come with a 1952 dated British case and strap. This is a very unusual pair of glasses. I have never seen another pair like it. A very nice set for the collector or reenactor. No reserve. Happy to answer questions.
