You are bidding on a fantastic collection of hi-grade WWII USAAF flight clothing consisting of a complete F-3A flight suit with cord (boxes included), B-15 flight jacket, electrically-heated gloves and Q-1 flying shoe inserts. The collection was part of a private military display. 1. Army Air Force Electric Heated Flight Suit with original boxes! Type F-3A (2) piece uniform (jacket & bibs) made by Melman & Maged Mfg. This F-3A set is new and will be shipped with the original boxes and electrical cable (used to "power-up" the suit within the aircraft!) Jacket size is regular 38-40. Bib size is medium 38-40. All Conmar zippers are in working condition. T are some moth nips on the ankle knits and do not detract from the look or the functionality of this suit. Overall, this is one of the best and most complete F-3A flight suits you will find on e-bay...second-to-none! 2. Type B-15 Intermediate Flight Jacket with 4th AAF patch and faded AAF Star logo. The size is approx 38-40 with measurements as follows: 23" pit-to-pit; 23" zipper lenght (collar bottom); 18.5" lower width; 26" sleeve length. All measurements are approximate. Mouton collar is still intact and the Alpaca lining is also in great shape. Talon zipper works and signed twice. All inside and outside button snaps work. Overall, the jacket is in good condition with various period repairs on the sleeves and knits. 3. GE Heated Leather Flight Gloves. For use with the F-2 & F-3 flight suits. The leather is still very soft & supple and in super condition...it doesn't get any better than this unless you buy them brand new! The inner heating elements are still intact & you can feel the wires running to a set of connectors that attach to the F-3A flight suit glove connectors. 4. GE Type Q-1 Electric Shoe Inserts. For use with the F-2 & F-3 flight suits. New and mint condition, these Q-1 inserts are size L for size 9 to 10 shoes/boots. All-in-all, this is an outstanding collection for any serious USAAF AAC memorabilia collector. Please review the photos carefully before bidding as all sales are final.
