Nice grouping of WWII decorations and papers belonging to lieutenant colonel Francis S. Driscoll. The clutch back ribbon bar consists of a distinguished flying cross, an air medal with an oak leaf device and an African - middle eastern - European theater medal with 4 supplementary stars over it. The wings are the standard sterling pin back, and 3 inch size. The maker of the wings are SE.EBY Philadelphia. The documents are in their original blue air force folder. The 2 large documents are a certificate of retirement and a certificate of transfer to the retired reserve. The other documents are a list of personal actions and other personal information sheets named to Driscoll. The propeller pin is a VFW souvenir of some sort and isn't marked on the back. be sure to check my other auctions for WWII souvenirs and Air Force items. E-mail if you have any questions.
