This is a U.S. military radio with the following identification: SIGNAL CORPS U.S. ARMY RADIO RECEIVER BC-652-A SERIAL NO. 5979 MADE BY GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. MADE IN U.S.A. It does not have any speakers attached to it so I don't know to what extent it works. When you plug it in the band display lights come on and one of the tube things inside glows. It was a neighbor's many years ago and I don't know its history or what it was used for. I'll try to answer any questions you have but keep in mind that I don't have a lot of technical knowledge about these things. YOUR SHIPPING COST MAY BE LESS. I haven't listed anything this heavy before and I couldn't figure out how to have the shipping cost adjust to your zip code. I used $60 because it made me enter something and that was the cost (roughly) to ship from New Jersey to Oregon. Your shipping cost will be the actual UPS ground cost depending on shipping to your zip code from 08077. The radio weighs about 45 lbs. and the packaging would add another 5 lbs. so plan on 50 lbs. Payment due within 3 days of close of auction once shipping cost is determined. Payment by PayPal only, unless you are local and want to pay cash. Local pick up is welcome at no charge.
