"Consolidated's Flying Boxcar," artist Richard Groh's excellent depiction of "Cuddles," a B-24H Liberator assigned to the 460th Bombardment Group at Spinazzola, Italy, in 1944. She and her crews survived some of the roughest targets in the ETO, including Vienna, Wiener Neustadt, and Ploesti. The 460th earned a Distinguished Unit Citation for its July 26, 1944 attack on Zwolfaxing Airdrome in Yugoslavia. The ship is shown as she would have appeared in late spring or early summer, 1944. By this time the 460th was changing its group identification markings, and this is reflected in the halfway complete revision of the fin and rudder designs. A P-51 pilot from the 31st Fighter Group approaches for a closer look at the Big Friend. . . . A title and informative caption appear just below the image. A brief history of the 460th along with complete original crew list for "Cuddles" is also included. The scan does not do justice to the extraordinary detail in this fine artwork. The 8 1/2 x 11" self-matted print is individually SIGNED BY THE ARTIST. The seller identification line will not appear on your print. Printed on fade-resistant heavyweight matte stock. Fits standard 8 1/2 x 11" frames and will look great on the wall of any home or office. Guaranteed to attract attention! First-Class postage in the U.S. is $3.00, and I will combine shipping
