Gorgeous Mother of Pearl Laquer Art

This has to be the most beautiful piece of laquered mother of pearl Japanese art I have ever seen. My Uncle was stationed at Pearl Harbor and then went to Japan and this was one of the souveniers he brought back. T are two large oriental birds with leaves and flowers all made of mother of pearl, the rim is highly detailed mother of pearl and also oval inserts all the way around the interior rim. Outside is scalloped. The back is black laquer but the front is a rich dark brown with copper guilt under the laquer, I tried to get a picture of it. This oval art piece is magnificent, so much prettier than my pictures. It does have a hanger on the back for mounting, it has been in a china closet so t is no damage, it is mint condition! I have placed a very small reserve on it. Total tray measures 22" high by 16.5" wide. This will make a wonderful addition to your collection! thanks for shopping with me.
