WWII Boeing B-17 Pilots Windscreen Clear Vision Window. Also called pop-outs. This is a small window, about 8" x 13", that was located in the Pilots front windscreen. This could be opened so the pilot could see out if the main windscreen was covered with ice, oil or shattered from flack. Removed from box for the first time since WWII for this photograph. Window is in EXCELLENT condition, but will need cleaning due to years of storage in a damp Seattle warehouse. Carton itself shows storage and dampness damage. A True Piece Of Aviation History. I am selling most of my collection of Aviation Items. Accumulated over 40 years. Aircraft parts, instruments, flight gear, helmets & parts. Literally thousands of items. Keep watching. See picture for details. Shipping weight is about 8 lbs. Buyer to pay actual shipping costs and insurance if you request it. Payment must be received within 14 days unless other arrangements have been made or this item will be relisted.
