This auction is for an - ASTRO - COMPASS MK.II This comes in it's original fitted wooden box - dimensions 10" x 6 1/4" x 5" and includes a canvas carrying strap and instruction manual. I believe these were used in WWII bombers. It is marked on the compass, Canada Astro Compass MkII, Ref. 6A/1174 No 5740/42. The box is marked, Astro compass MKII Ref. No 6/A 1174, Canada, Cominion Electric Protection Company, FSSC NO. 88-C-770, AN-5738-1.It appears to be in very good mechanical order.Our preferred method of payment is PayPal but we do accept Money orders, Cash or Personal Checks (item will not ship until your check has cleared).
