This is an original WWII dated (1942) British Army Slouch hat as worn by Allied Forces and the Chindits in Burma and the Far East Condition is very good for it's age with only light signs of mothing, No holes.Complete with sweat band intact marked Denham & Hargrave Ltd Atherstpne 1942 size 7 &1/8 , chin strap, and outer cloth band (Padgri)No signs of any cloth or metal insignia been attachedThere appears to some ones name & number on the sweat band but it is difficult to read.A Very nice Seldom seen Scarce WWII Dated hat
