Authentic functional vintage Browning .50 cal machinegun sight in my family since 1940s. Original rubber eye cup in good condition, black painted with white Markings: "Cal .50 Browning Machine Gun FT 0.50-F-1" and "Sight, Telescopic, T3 NO. 102 F.A. 1936 E.D.B. Power 3.25X Field of View 12 (degrees)"Has working range adjustments marked in YDS and MILS and working R and L windage adjustments marked 0 through 100. 6 inches tall by 5 inches front to back. 25 ozs A few spider cob webs appear in view. Includes 12 page Technical Manual, TM 9-1581, Telescopic Sights M1 and T3, Ordnance Maintenance issued by the War Department October 4, 1941. "...contains general descriptive material and detailed instructions for maintenance and repair of the sight by ordnance personnel ... the telescopic sight M1 is the standard telescopic sight for use with the Browning machine gun, caliber .50 HB, M2, Ground... a limited procuremetn telescopic sight, designated telescopic sight T3 has been manufacturered in quantity and is available for use with this machine gun..."
