I've had a few Ebayers ask me what these were actually for. These Captured Enemy Equipment Certificates were issued to the GI/Officer as a receipt and/or authorization to mail home/take personally. Items were generally taken off the battlefield or "Liberated." I loved to listen to the gentleman that these C.E.E.C.'s belonged to describing how he obtained the items and how when he got home after the war, how his parent's parlor was full of his packages from Germany. I would love to say he still have these items, but they all had been sold or given away over the years. What if!
