Army Vet who served in the Europeanand African campaigns from 1941 through 1945 brought back several wonderful captured German items from battles in Europe. The GI carefully preserved his relics and kept them that way until he passed away recently. See my other auctions for more from this collection. Many items could not be offered on Ebay due to restrictions and prohibitions on German war items. If interested please email me and I will provide descriptions and pictures. Battle Honors, Purple Heart, Bronze Star And Ribbon Bar W/Presidential Unit Citation Bar US Military WWII medals issued to F. Vann. Purple Heart and Bronze Star in original leather issued cases. Neither of the medals is inscribed with Vann's name. In addition to these medals, I have Vann's medal ribbon Bar with the Purple Heart and Bronze Star Ribbons along with a Korea Service ribbon. T is also a nice Presidential Unit Citation ribbon with gold border. Included with the medals are two (2) original "Battle Honors" issued by a Major Gen. Brandenburg on April 8, 1945. These documents describe the action for which Vann received his medals and name his unit and date(s) of action. Nice original collection from estate of a decorated Hero of WWII. I have kept all these items together for one auction, as the family requested they remain as a group and sold to one buyer. Reasonable start and no reserve on this auction. This is a 5 day only auction ! so bid accordingly. All sales are final so look closely at the pictures provided before bidding. Any questions or requests for additional pictures should be requested by email and I will respond within 24 hours. SHIPPING HANDLING AND RETURNS Sellers warrant all items to be as described in description. If an item differs from the description, buyer may return that item within 7 days from auction close for a refund. Shipping will be by USPS Priority Mail unless another shipper and means are chosen by buyer. Buyer to pay all shipping handling and insurance (optional) on any items won.
