Lot of Two (2) Full WWII Era 2oz Bore Cleaner Cans for the M1 Carbine, M1 Garand, M1903 Up for Auction is a Lot of Two (2) Full WWII Era 2oz Bore Cleaner Cans. The cans are full or partially full and in Good to Excellent Condition. The are marked as follows: 2oz Cleaner - Rifle Bore SPEC. USA 2-117 P. O. No. (28 024) 44-407002 The Curran Corporation Malden, Mass. These are the bore cleaner cans that were carried one of the pockets of the WWII Cartridge Belts. They were issued to service the M1 Carbine, M1 Garand, M1903/A3 Springfiled, M1928 M1 and M1A1 Thompsons, M1917 and M1919, along with the BAR. If you have a WWII Collection, you must have a set of these to fill out your collection or display. PLEASE NOTE: these cans have been sitting for over 60 years, the cardboard seals in the lids have a tendency to leak. They will be shipped in a plastic ziplock bag to protect the package, in case of leakage. I cannot guarantee this product against leakage during shipping. If they leak simply rinse them off in warm soapy water. As such, this item is being sold AS IS, no returns accepted. Please see photos.
