Original WWII German S84/98 Bayonet w/Scabbard for K98 Mauser Rifle - Marked 43asw Dated 1944 with Waffenampts - Excellent Condition Up for auction is an Original WWII Germany S84/98 Bayonet with Scabbard. This bayonet is marked 43asw on one side of the blade and 5248 over a on the other side. There are two waffenampts on the top of the pommel. The blade has about 99% of the original blue finish left. The blade has no evidence of sharpening. The Bakelite handles are in Excellent Condition with no nicks or chips. The metal scabbard is marked 41 crs. There is also a waffenampt on the very tip of the scabbard. The scabbard has approximately 98% of the original blue finish. This bayonet is in Near Mint Condition. You will have a hard time finding another in this condition. This is a nice example of an WWII Vintage German Bayonet with Waffenampt Proof Marks. Please see photos.
