is a photo album from Ralph Deeming who was a WWII Fleet Air Photographer for Squadron Three under the command of Robert J. Stroh, USN. This photo album chronicles his career in the Navy as a photojournalist. The Los Angeles Times, dated 1944 ran a story about a ship that was sunk by allied forces and t is an original photograph of the of the ship as it was hit. 11 pages have multiple photographs that were transposed on one sheet with graphics and handwritten notes. T are also several pages with original photographs of General Marshall, the USS Pokomoke, a native boy and girl from Apamama, but the girl is topless so I chose not to show that photograph, Flight Operations Crew VD-3- Enewitok, other various crewman, photos of base life and recreation and most photos have handwritten notations on them. 24 pages in all. Also included are 2 original silk USN maps. The green colored one is of the Western Pacific and the blue one is of Tokyo, Second Edition, 1943 and both say restricted on the border.
