Up for auction is this WWII General Electric Radio receiver type CG-46117. Frequency: 7 to 27 mc. CW (A1), MCW (A2), phone (A3), supply: 28 volts DC. Weight 22.5 pounds, serial # 1851. A unit of model RAX-1 aircraft radio equipment. Manufactured for Navy Dept-Bureau of Ships by General Electric. The contract date is 29 June, 1940. This unit is in very good condition. It does have some paint chips. The upper right hand button needs to be replaced. See picture. Includes 2 fuses. The inside of the unit is extremely clean. We removed the upper and lower cover for you to see inside. All of the buttons, knobs and tuner control knobs move freely, no sticking.
