WWII German AfrikaKorps Artillery WW2 Shoulder Board History This is a consignment auction for a doctor client who purchased all of his military collectibles in the late 1980s. We are helping him liquidate his entire collection. Many of these WWII items are used and bear signs of wear and possible blood stains. We are not experts and welcome any comments to correctly identify these items if we have something not identified perfectly. Auction Inventory and Specifications WWII German AfrikaKorps Unteroffizier Artillery Shoulder Board - From what we can tell this was meant to be worn by a member of the AfrikaKorps Unteroffizier, which translates into Sergeant in American rankings. The red piping is bright and represents the Artillery branch. The board is lined with a brown woven pattern that represents the rank. The center and the backing are both a brown fabric, this shade of brown representing the AfrikaKorps. This is in really good condition and may be unissued. This shoulder board measures 4" inches long and is 1 3/4 inches wide. Auction Specifics This auction features a low starting bid and no reserve.
