WWII German Army No. 55 Folding Pocket Knife. is a German Army No. 55 large folding pocket knife in excellent condition. This folding knife measures 11 1/2 inches overall length with a 5 1/4 inch blade. The blade is marked with "No. 55/Germany" and "....rior Steel" (Superior Steel?) on the blade. This knife has cross hatched wooden scales and a side lever for quick gravity release. It can be opened by holding down and pressing the lever for gravity release or by flicking the wrist outward for even quicker opening action. This knife has been field service issued, carried, and sharpened and shows some use.
