I am selling items excess to my collection - either duplicates or not interested in that area anymore. Please check back. T will be postcards, books, photos and many other items. Have to pay for those new plumbing pipes. WWII German ARMY Soldbuch. Served from 1941 to the end of the war. T is an English language stamp at the back of the Soldbuch, indicating he was captured and/or processed out of the German Army by the Allies. Unfortunately, it doesn't identify the unit, just says HQ, Infantry Division Artillery and t is a PFC's initials. I don't think the British had PFC's, so at least we can assume it's an American unit. His Soldbuch indicates he was in a Lazarett (Hospital) in Traunstein (near Austria) at the end of the war...last entry is 29 May 1945. Some Highlights: Born 25 November 1919 in Munich. Entered the Army in Munich Last Unit was 2/Eisb. Pi.Ers.Btl. 2, (2 Kompanie, Railroad Combat Engineer Replacement Battalion 2). Also served in Eisb. Pio Kp 70 and FeldbahnKompanie 304 (Field Railway Company 304), as well as replacement units that are noted. Received the Ostmedialle 24 October 1942, the ribbon for which he is wearing in the ID photo. Gefreiter March 1, 1944 Lots and lots of equipment issues.
