Up for auction this WWII German bayonet from a local estate. This is one of five bayonets I am listing, plus a box full of German and American insignas, photos, postcards, etc., brought back from Germany by a local veteran who recently past away. This particular bayonet and scabbard have MATCHING serial numbers "5546 Z" on the reverse side of the blade and scabbard it is marked "cof 43". The blade is in excellent "MINT" condition it retains 99% of its original blueing and show very slight wear from the scabbard. The scabbard is also in excellent condition. The bayonet handle is walnut and is in excellent condition. I am not knowledgeable of German military items, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to email. Check out my other items !
