Original WWII German Fireman's long model dress bayonet with frog and knot in excellent condition. The bayonet is 15 5/8" long and the blade is 9 5/8" long. The unsharpened blade has some very slight in and out marks and one tiny nick at the tip of the blade, the maker is E. Pack & Sohne Solingen with the E. Pack logo, the hilt and crossguard are almost perfect with some minor corrosion on the spline between the grips. The black plastic checkered grips are chip and crack free, the scabbard shows some minor wear and crazing of the original black paint. The frog shows the typical condition for this type of dress frog and the knot is very nice with a little fraying in one spot and a couple of moth nips on the end of the ball. As always with my auctions 3 day return if not happy, Thanks.
