This helmet was in my father's collection. He was a WWII vet. From what I've seen on eBay the leather interior is in decent shape. The name written in red paint in the inside of the helmet is P. Rother. Thank you for looking and bidding!!! Note: Due to the pop-up about selling offensive material internationally I am limiting sales only to the United States at this time. Some of you have asked if there are any markings on the left side of helmet. On the insode left side "SE64" is stamped which I have been told is the size. It also looks like "P. Rother" was also marked on the back inside of the helmet. Note: 1. I've added UPS shipping as another option. 2. If you want the package insured let me know before you are invoiced. I will not be responsible for the helmet after it arrives at the shipper. Hey All, Someone interested in the helmet requested that I take some more pictures of the helmet in natural sunlight. Well, here you go. I could only add 4 more pictures. I hope this helps you all. Regards Some more notes from emails: 1. someone asked " Does it appear like it was hit with a cleaning with steel wool? I see scratch marks all over it?" In my option steel wool was not used on it and it was normal wear. 2. I cannot change the international shipping function. I guess it is locked in where it can't be changed after the auction starts. Thank you all for your emails and looking at the helmet. I am excited about all the views and watchers.
