Attention Ebay t are no offensive symbols in thisauction.I got this helmet from southern California . It is an original WWII M34 Luftschutz helmet that was a souvenir. On the front it has a hand painted " Berlin 45" which I believe to be period original. It has in its life acquired German Luftwaffe style Big Daddy Ed Roth decals which probably were applied in the 60's when it was cool for the surfers and hot rod guys to wear German helmets. This is a unique and a one of a kind helmet. Sadly all the heat and salty air have not treated the helmet well. The liner has rotted away and the paint is very fragile and chips easily. The original Luftschutz decal has mostly chipped away. Please email for additional photos or if you have questions. This would be a great addition to your Military collection or vintage surf collection.
