I have a rare WWII German lantern. It is quite rusty and there is a small hole on the back. If this is genuine German then the only way my father would have acquired this is when a dornier crash landed in Eynsford during the war. He was always taking things from enemy craft that had just crashed. Sadly I cannot rectify this as he is no longer with us but I do think the story is fairly factual since he had a tail section confiscated by the police and a gauntlet he had to throw away because the hand was still in the glove!Posted with eBay Mobile
